First: incredibly sub-par country song, must be local band recording on 4-track with shitty equipment. Probably the house band at that bar halfway between Morristown and Cocke County.
Second: viciously bad Alanis Morrissette song, or viciously bad imitation of Alanis Morrissette. Either way, it pained me, but I kept listening.
Third: that new Bad Religion song. I liked old Bad Religion all my teenage life and even up til 5 or 6 years ago, but this "all I have to do is click on you" crap is embarrassing for listeners and artist both.
At this point, I really had to just put on a CD.
Now, even if you New Torch guys are going for fans of the abovementioned music, I really doubt you'll find too many people who would want to hear them all three in a row. Not that people aren't eclectic - I can listen to Public Enemy and Willie Nelson and Sigur Ros and Bardo Pond with equal satisfaction - but people who like those kinds of songs are very rarely eclectic in their tastes, and so will be constantly put off by bad programming choices.
I would recommend doing set themed shows, if you're really dead set on the commercial audience. Do an "aggressive angry males screaming" show, a "waify girls strumming" show, a "country boys pickin'" show, a "pop punk show", etc. That way, you may at least get a few bleed-off listeners from 94.3.
