Ok...so you may be right about that. They all play the same old shit over and over..ie. Lord Lindsey's. But I think the best dancing thus far is Wednesday nights @ Fiction. Who is the DJ on Wednesday b/c he's hands down the best DJ at Fiction.

The Dj's in Knoxville suck just as bad as the people here who dance to their music... Example Banana Joes ...Lame DJ....Lame Dancin

I agree. However, I did have a lot of fun dancing on the bar one night but the music and the DJ still suck...the beer is good.

I used to live in Knoxville, Gene. I'm going to move back, maybe, at the end of this year. I'll be back there this weekend, leaving Friday afernoon from Charlotte...Maybe I'll go to Banana Joes and drink beer and Boo the DJ :-)

Ah yes -- Banana Eyed Joe's. I noticed in the paper this weekend that they finally got busted for selling beer to minors. I hope you enjoy lounging under the cartoon-like palm trees that reflect the culture of our region so well.

i had to attend a wedding reception that evening for some dear friends of mine, im very sorry, but i am going to try to make it to at least a few shows before too long, i have got to get some good photos soon!
