Jeeeezus! Mark Morrison and Scott Scheinbaum? Those are the only two people willing to step forward? Much like the "recall movement" that is LAUGHABLE! Maybe someone else in the "movement", make that the FAILED movement could step forward and show their cards. Maybe the chick with the multi-colored hair that Vic's focus group showed to the residents that said they would not follow her because she "looked like some freak" as one Ossoli Circle patron remarked.
Can you tell me where Missy Mayfield is? I thought she was going to run. Oh? What's that? She never wanted to run or be on the Council? Ok.

You got scared off by Regina's hair? Golly. Or maybe you just mean the Ossoli Circle got scared off by her hair, which isn't surprising (although I bet there's some scary hair in the Ossoli Circle too, of the bluish variety). Surely you're not citing fears about multi-hued coiffures as some sort of legitimate complaint about KnoxRecall? For whatever obscure reasons of your own (you really ARE Victor, you're sleeping with Victor, or you just like pissing on people), you can keep putting "failed" in front of "Recall movement" all you want. As an observer and not a participant, I think the recallers were surprisingly successful. Assorted local potentates are now doing their best to minimize the damage, at least partly because they'd prefer the broader public not to know how easy it is for a couple dozen people with clipboards to scare the panties off the great and powerful Oz. And they were scared, Scary. Yes they were. It was fun to watch.

If he is Victor, I would love to know. The idea of Knoxville's being governed by so flagrant a lunatic as one who would post these grade-school jabs (which basically amount to the a gleeful, newly-moneyed redneck's version of "nanna nanna boo boo") is too rich to be a mystery for long. Or perhaps he is merely one of Victor's many lackeys, scrunched in with the rest of them in the Mayoral Closet.
As for the daft use of the term "camera friendly": my God, take a look at the assembly of boobs on City Council and County Commission, and tell me if that passel of slack-jawed, panty-waisted low-brows would pass for "camera friendly" anywhere in the country other than the city where the Ashes pass for aristocracy. As Grandma used to say, "Breeding will tell."

That farce didn't scare anyone. It was pointless from the start and everyone with any common knowledge of the statutes knew it. Why didn't the failed recall movement organizers? can't the read? I was quite vocal on the front end that if they wanted to get the word out and have the over 40 set (which I might add is the largest segment of our metro population) they needed to get someone that was more "camera friendly."
Nope. Didn't happen. Neither did the recall.

Mmm. Matter of fact, I got a haircut a month or so back. Now it's just kinda average white-guy length. When I put on a tie, I look blandly respectable. But it'll probably reach rodent length again sometime this fall, as the temperatures cool. Unless my girlfriend has other ideas. I just went and looked in the mirror. Hippy-ish? Dude, you can see the tops of my ears. My bangs, such as they are, don't even reach my oddly angled eyebrows. I'm not even at 1963 George Harrison levels, much less 1969. But I didn't see the broadcast you're talking about; maybe the camera adds inches to my hairline. Anyway, you shoulda seen it about two years ago. It was a real Shaggy do (Shaggy like Scooby, not Shaggy like dancehall). Nothing compared to Ian's golden locks, of course.

Maybe a lot more. I just sold an autographed copy of "Throwing Copper" by Live for $150. God knows if some idiot will pay that much for Live they might pay that much or more for the guy that entertained the masses at Woodstock while they were eating breakfast on the second day.
