I run a discount book store in Charlotte-Seriously...Nobody ever believes me when I tell them that!
If you think of some books you might be interested in just let me know and I'll see if I can get them to you cheaper. That goes for anyone on here. I also carry computer books...good one's! Yes, I DO know if their good, I used to work at Hampton-Tilley I can tell the difference between good and bad computer books...even if I don't look like I can.
You can even email me if you wish, just write book request or something in the subject so I don't delete it without opening it!:-)

the gunslinger
Stephen King
This is has been on my mind for a while. Great book, pure story. As King gets older he tends to place more morality in his novels which in my opinion dampens evertying. Gunslinger is pure outright story with no moral and little in the way of over the top philosphical meanderings. I like philophical meanderings. but not when someone can't execute them subtly. Anyway gunlslinger cool.
The vampire Lestat/Queen of the damned.
Anne Rice.
Besides giving you bitch material at how hollywood is going to murder these book in the new film...love interst between lestat and jesse? puke vomit damn love interests...ther a good set. Rice does a good job of detailing cutlures andmaking you feel how these people possibly lived and how amiliar their lifestyles were to ours. she gets a tad preachy toward the end of Queen but...well i'ts forgivable.
