That there ain't been more work done to link that there Chandra Levy with Bill Clinton or somehow blame him for her gone missin'. The only thing I seen so far is some half-assed attempt to paint Condit as "Clinton-like." Come on, Republican National Committee, you just ain't trying no more. You could at least try to get Daschle with that brush, too. Don't disappoint me. You just remember that in 2002 there's plenty of Libertarians I can vote for who'll let me keep my guns, too.

I'm disappointed that not every other missing child, woman, and man doesn't receive this much attention. They are just as important to society, aren't they?

People're just tetched in the head, generally. Dale Earnhart wan't no better of a person than any one you see in the obituaries, but you still see them number threes stuck all over. Hell, I bet there are folks out there with a picture of Earnhart in their houses and none of their own Ma and Pa who passed on. That Chandra Levy don't mean nothin' to me, yet somehow I know her name. How do ya figure that?

I totally agree with you. I don't know why or how people idolize other human beings. I have my own people whom I admire but none that I would dwell on. The Dale Earnhardt thing confuses me as well. I admire him because he died doing what he loved...how many other people are going to be able to say that? I think he is probably looking down on all of us and shaking his head thinking "what a bunch of morons!"

if dale earnhardt had had his way; he woudn`t have died like that. he would have died surrounded by his loved ones. looking back on his life and successful racing career(maybe he did die like that, who am i to say?) i`m a big racing fan,and i take his death really hard. if he had lived through that wreck; he would have never been the same. the really bad wreck that you live through changes you. jeff gordon (and other young drivers) aint had to deal with that yet. just ask richard petty,darrel waltrip,rusty wallace,ricky rudd. the wreck you live through,but think you aren`t,makes you think a little bit before heading into the turn with the throttle wide open.
