Today's headline flogs a skeletonized horse. (Former) Trustee Bill Sansom says he was urging Gilley to resign before the New-Sentinel story appeared. That's all the news. Big deal.Why is this story appearing now? Two possibilities: the Sentinel is desperate for news, or they're worried about a lawsuit. Argument in favor of the latter: the main point of the story is that Gilley was in trouble before the Sentinel's May 25 story appeared. Question for anyone from the Sentinel's newsroom: was this story published in response to the lawsuit being filed against the Sentinel and UT by Reed and Gilley? Sentineling, er, Enquiring minds want to know.
Question not answered in the story, which is ostensibly an interview with Sansom: Why, if Sansom was right about all this, was he eased off the Board of Trustees? And we're still waiting to hear who the "Senior state official" who pushed Reed on the University was. Does the name rhyme with Lundquist?

It's really simple...several members of the Lucky Sperm Club, including Sundquist and Gilley, got caught up in the middle-aged hottie's charms and insatiable sexual appetite and ended up paying for it by the hair of their scroti. Sundquist is blessed with "Slick Willie's Disease," but his time will come.
