The Order Of Things is a new Tarentel (released last week). It is very good. Also, Temporary Residence has a few copies of their hard to find Travels In Constants EP in case you don't have that one.

Pernice Bros. Chattanooga, last Sunday evening.

What a fine Sunday show. $5 cover & no opener, nice small club & just enough people.

The band played so quietly, whispery melodies all out front, then smash into a big pop multi-voice hook-heaven.

I actually spoke with their booking agent about a date more than a month ago, but the tour was full. There is a possibility of a Monday or Tuesday night in November, but in this market those nights have a pattern of tanking. I love the new record, and wish I could have gone to Chattanooga to see what I am sure was a wonderful show.
