Rachel's Big Problem

Abortions are safe and legal in this country, have been and will be for a long time to come, regardless of the whining done by a small minority of religious tight asses. But on network television the characters continue to play out strange, time-warped roles defined by who knows what kind of bizarre chimera pushmi-pullyu standard created by those sluttly, whorish producers and execs who want to grab audiences by introducing the drama of a pregnancy but who also don't want to alienate a small segment of potential viewers (and their money) by introducing abortion as a reasonable solution to the conundrum.
