Roger:I trust Nepal was to your liking. Please take time to tell each and every citizen of Seoul that Gene-son says hello. Do not mention anything about the Panda shipments here. It is not secure. This board is monitored. Yours Truly,

As you well know, my friend, it's not the panda shipments we have to be worried about anymore....

Hey, Roger! Yeah, you could e-mail the URL, or you could copy & paste the article text into an e-mail window. Not quite as convenient as a "send this to a friend" function, but it works.

Would it be completely ridiculous to ask for a simple "next message" button to be added to the board? Not having to jog back and forth to get on a new topic would sure speed up the reading process. Just a thought. Thanks!

You can use the "Re:" link to go back and the "Follow Ups" link to go forward in message threads. ~Gene Harrogate

I can use the back arrows, too. But what I'm looking for is a button about here ^ that I can use to just click through sequentially from the top of the board to the bottom, without having to go back and pick the thread back up all the time. Yeah, I'm lazy. But it would also speed things up so more people could more quickly access then get the hell out of the board. It doesn't really matter.

Both combined. A "next message" button that starts at whatver post you open, then goes back down through the replies to the thread, all branches, then jumps down into the next thread below. A lot of newsreaders and message boards have them, and they're pretty darned handy. I don't know if Anyboard supports it. I didn't see it in their on-line manual, but you da man. Thanks!

I don't know if Anyboard supports it.It doesn't, unfortunately. AnyBoard's a decent script, but it was written by space aliens (and I've got a somewhat mojoed version of it to begin with), so I'm reluctant to muck with it too much. Myself, I'll open the main Blab page, and command-click on an individual thread to open it in a new window (that's on a Mac; I assume there's a similar action under Windows). After I've gone through the thread, I'll close the window, and repeat as needed until I've gone through that day's posts. Not quite as convenient as your method, but it works okay.

I know that in Netscape, in the file menu, there is a button that says send this file/page. I think IE has one, too. As for other browsers, I don't know, but assume there is something similar.Belle ;) easttngothic.com

Thanks very much for all the advice. I'm sure that one way or the other I'll get it done.Roger, the PEBKAC king.
