In His Defense...

I find it flattering and refreshing that a man is taking an interest in what society has deemed "Womens Issues." I also do believe there is such thing as taking all things to an extreme but I won't discuss that here.

All of the issues JJJ has brought to the board's attention are worth noting and I am just glad people are arguing about those issue. Simply because an arguement is a form of discussion, and in order for a topic to be a form of discussion then there has to be some interest in it and I am glad people are interested in the issues JJJ has brought to hand.

In my own defense, I do not wear potato sacks nor do I wear burkenstocks...today I'm wearing a form fitting black summer dress and Nine West black strappy heels...Not modest by any means, but it makes me feel sexy and I like that. I wear a little bit of make up to help what God tried to do for me, nothing over bearing, yet I don't look like a feminazi by any means. If you ever see me you will shocked and amazed that I can use a computer...I do, for some reason, sport some classic bimbo look, I don't mean to but I am not coloring my hair dam it! You'll also understand why I rant and rave about respect.

It's not about modesty and it's not solely a woman issue. It's a respect thing and it includes everyone...whether you have a penis or not!...or even if your'e just borrowing someone elses

Frank: Well, it's good that Scary and Scary Girl are branching out with all-new fake names.

Ernest: Do you mean "good" as in "healthy for them" or "good" as in "adds value to the environment"?

Frank: I meant "good" as in "good God almighty", actually.

Ernest: Do they still have Pete's Summer Brew for $5.50 at Food City?

Frank: Yep.

Ernest: And do you still have that coupon for "buy one get one free" on a Chalupa?

Frank: You know it.

Ernest: It's going to be a good night.

Actually, I haven't seen anyone "argue" with JJJ about these things, except to argue that he's some sort of soi-disant male feminist with a very polarized view of women as victims-in-waiting and a general wacko who fears black helicopters are beaming radio waves into his head.

It's a respect thing and it includes everyone...

Not to hear JJJ tell it! To him, there are clearly two types of people in this world: men and victims.

Like I said in an earlier post. I love women and prefer that to pitying them. Besides, "hurting people is bad" is not exactly an earth shattering moral concept to prostelitize about. He might as well come on here and post sites that proclaim that death is fatal. It's not like this board is a hotbed of misogyny.

But yes, if it'll shut him up about it, I'll agree: doing bad things to people is bad.

Enjoy the weekend,

Yes, you 'haven't seen anyone argue with me'...Gene, but not for the reasons you've given. The reason that they haven't put up a decent debate against what I've said IS BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT'S TRUE.

Instead, they have clustered like flabbergasted idiots, plotting and scheming and insulting. I've been called gay, a mamma's boy, a psycho, a wacko, and everything down the line.

My view of women is NOT polarized, and I do NOT view them as victims in waiting. I mentioned black helicopters in only ONE originating post, hardly a defining moment around here.

What you really can't stand is that I stand up for myself and stand by everything I've written, and that I'm longwinded and don't live in East Tennessee. And out of all of them, you and Hunter have been the most insulting.

But that is OK, Holmes...cuz I am one tough hoss and I ain't goin' anywhere. I'm HERE, on YOUR board, and you can just get used to it.

And by the way, if what I've talked about is so 'unshattering' and obvious, and already known...then WHY does this place lite up like a Christmas tree over the posts?

I got news for ya, Gene. I'm just gettin' started.

The misanthropic and misogynistic perverts of the world need to quake in fear that the real feminists and people who care will be watching every perverted move these predators and perps make.

As stated before, God created Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve or Edie and Stevye.

JJJ is RIGHT ON!

The Apocryphal Story of Adam and Steve

As a more or less lapsed Catholic in extremely poor standing with the Church, I take this opportunity to get some brownie points (i.e., indulgences to offset my sentence in Purgatory, which now stands at something like 400,000 years, give or take) by Defending the Faith vis a vis a rendering of the Old Apocryphal passage about the elusive Steve.

You Protestants just snip away at whatever bible stories don't jibe with your world view, but no matter. Steve, or "Stevoyam" as is, I believe, the rough Hebrew version of the name, predated Eve. He even predated Lilith (you know, Adam's first girlfriend, who turned out to be way too intense). At first it made sense to partner Adam with a regular guy; after all, who was he going to drink with? I mean, you can't expect a fellow to drink with his wife. Steve was better than Eve at almost everything except gardening. Sports, politics, music...Steve was really there for Adam. The verses I'm familiar with don't say anything about sex--that part about "trading thy ass for a ram" no doubt refers to animal husbandry--but they were buds, 'tis certain. Eventually God created Eve for the practical necessity of propagating the species, and together they founded original sin, guilt, war, etc.

You can look the story up yourself, though I think only the Abyssinian version of the bible tells it.

thanks,

but what I am talking about is neither new or original...

the fight goes on in the VRM (victims rights movement) every day...

and it is nationwide...

it's a story that few will ever know...

a story where people are asking for justice to be done in cases already made and won,

where there is little closure or resolution...

and so we stand here, awaiting an appearance of Themis...

Anyone else wonder why JJJ chose to use the image of a topless figure of justice who is provocatively displaying one bared knee? And why JJJ didn't Photoshop out the ticky-tacky clock in Mz Justice's base?

Wait, Wait!! This reminds me of my favorite JJJ story, you know the one where he kept claiming that Gene was Scary Girl because she supposedly posted a pic from Gene's /img directory.

Then, when Ian pointed out that she never actually posted any pics but just took credit for them, JJJ changed the entire topic by talking about the first modem he ever had.

Way to stand up for what you wrote, jackoff.

then WHY does this place lite up like a Christmas tree over the posts?

It's because you point out the obvious but make it sound like noone else would know anything about it.

I could post that 2 + 2 didn't equal 7, but if I'm actually taking the time to post that, then I'd have to be a complete fucking moron to think everyone else didn't already now it.

btw - How many months have you been on here? I'd like to go ahead and mark my calendar for the end of your 8 months.

NO, the reason is NOT because I have 'pointed out the obvious'...

in THAT case, I'd have been ignored.

OH NO,

the very REASON why some stood up..

and stepped up to the plate..

is because they thought I MIGHT BE WRONG,

even though they secretly KNEW I was right about it,

and they THOUGHT they could shoot it down.

mark your calendar for RIGHT NOW, Gamma;

I will be gone within 8 months time.
