Yeah, I was there. Some of the more memorable bands were Copper, Red #9, the Death Metal band, See through Human, and Jupiter Moon. What was up with the cover bands?

I only saw the last couple of hours, but it was cool and there were quite a few good bands (Evanset, Coma, etc).Copper was phenomenal, but I knew that already because I'd seen them before. The biggest shock for me was seeing See Through Human for the first time. After reading some of the negative posts here on the Metroblab, I wasn't expecting too much, but they absolutely kicked ass! Maybe I'm just not "cool" anymore, but to me they fucking rocked the place! Dusty

Red # 9 was 4 real,Coma kicked ass.See thru posed as usual @ the death metal band rocked as well. What was up with the pathetic sound system @ all the cover bands>

is it true Red # 9 was disqualified 4 the Chinese salute ( the finger) that the guy in the masked shot at the judges,the crowd & the police.No Obscenities rule I believe....That what I was told anyhow

i don't know why they didn't place in the botb they did a pretty good job i thought.
there were a lot of good bands, maybe RED#9's song wasn't "mainstream" enough to get the judges attention, they (the judges) seemed very taken back or confused during there song. when i looked over at the judges table, they just all had there mouths hanging open as if they were in shock or something.
