So, Sundquist is down in flames again. Question: who should hate him more? People who are against the income tax, for breaking his promise? Or people who are for the income tax, for being so pathetically inept about pushing it?

Here's how the Tennessean describes the protests:

"Hundreds of anti-income tax demonstrators, as well as several
pro-tax demonstrators, descended on the Capitol beginning at
dawn. The protests were loud, but orderly."

"Hundreds" versus "several." Yup.

I persoanlly do not want an income tax at all in this state. I feel like revenues are high enough, and that the state of Tennessee should learn to live within its means, like any family would.

In my opinion, the people who despise him the most are actually people in his own party who HATE the idea of an income tax, and I'm in that group pretty much.
