Folks jus don't seem to ever get the concept. Here it is again, you skankin ho. Somebody yellin really loud at you, no matter what = free speech*. If you don't like it, get the f out. Somebody punchin you in the face = illegal assault. Call a cop. Sticks vs. stones. People have got way too sensitive. Guess Bill Graham's to blame for that, too.
* It be free speach as long as you ain't punchin out somebody while your yellin, then it's a hate crime and you get a extra few years gettin cornhole to think about tha erosion of 1st Amendment rights.

I used to go there a lot back when it was the Pink Puttie Kat. Nice little place, always had a good time and I don't believe I ever saw anyone get TOO rowdy or get kicked out for harassing the girls. Nice girls too, most of them were good ol' girl-next-door types. Not crack whores or the like. Haven't been there since the name change (or much at all since Harold got killed) but I think I'll stop by sometime soon, for old times' sake don't ya know. MS

Is this a private conversation? I don't know what happened but I'd agree about the safety of the employees being most important. The establishments I've been to around Knoxville have not been top notch. Back in Florida most places have at least one large burly bouncer if not 3 and the rules are strictly enforced, unless you find one of those places that bends the rules on purpose - then they're on they're own.
So where is this place?
Or should I just leave you the hell alone?

Well I'll tell ya one thing, at least legally speaking Tennessee is much tighter than Florida on the strip clubs. I lived in Key West for a year and the clubs down there are pretty much wide open. For twenty bucks you can get a "private dance" which entails going into a little booth or back room with the girl, where she proceeds to get naked and gyrate all over you for as long as the song lasts. You can generally grab and grope anywhere but a few areas, I'm sure you can guess where you CAN'T put your hands. Basically a glorified "lap dance". Here you can't touch them at all, period. I enjoyed many drunken nights at the Red Garter or the Upstairs Bar or the infamous Pirate's Den. Practically speaking it's kind of a waste of money when you could go get a hooker off the street and get an actual blowjob for the same twenty bucks, but that's not really the point is it? As far as bouncers go, I've never been in a club anywhere where there weren't at least three or four if there's any crowd in the club at all.MS

Stop by.I have found Florida to be tight when it comes to club activity. Tennessee is lax as hell. I lived in Nevada for a couple of years and out there anything goes. Few girls have long-time security that cares. Nashville's scene is much wilder too.

First, it's not filth, at least not by MY definition. It's a good, clean, fun form of entertainment. Yes, it caters to the more base, prurient side of the psyche, but so what? It's a way for women to make a hell of a lot of money without having to have sex with anybody for it and it's a way for men to go spend a little money and feel like players for a while even when they're not. Unlike prostitution there's no risk of spreading a sexually transmitted disease and the ladies don't have to take the chance of some whacko slicing and dicing them in a back alley. IMHO, it works quite well for both sides of the equation, so GET OVER IT you supercilious, self-righteous ass!MS
