Ever heard of Groovenics, Adema, Rammstein, or Nullset? Probably not, assuming that these are pretty new bands not from around this musical mecca.
The Loud Rock show alone is 3HOURS of LOUD ROCK. Ten songs does not make up 3HOURS of music. If you want to hear all the unqiue LR music to WUTK become a regular listener to the station. OR dowload Real Player Jukebox and make your own show on your home computer.
The College Music Journal has many formats of charts. Example; RPM, Top 30, Rap, Alternative, Loud Rock, and International. It has each stations charts and an overall chart for each format.

Woo-ee, you guys are just TOO EXTREME for me. You're really TAKIN' IT TO THE EDGE, ya know? I mean, whoa, System of a Down? The Rollins Band? And look, you've got the Chemical Bros. too, so that counts as diverse programming I guess. Maybe you'll even add Beck's new album when it comes out -- then you'll be, like, RADICAL!

It may not be perfect, but it's either that or be bored into near insanity by the likes of Kid Rock and Pearl Jam on 94.3. In cases like these, all it takes is one energetic person with the time and passion for the genre to drive the whole mix forward. But it's difficult to find hard-working obsessives who don't mind being paid in CD-Rs.

I think the majority of people are not slandering you. You maybe paranoid about that because of your own "tiny little universe". If you haven't realized it yet people are not putting you down, they are criticising your inablity to step away from the normality and bland radio people in this city already have. You are exactly right! I was looking over the chart provided above and the only thing that came to mind was, "typical." Typical music for a typical show. Branch out. Cause a stir. Go out on a limb and define your own space.
