I noticed the other day that the winner of some "Battle of the Bands" around here will get the fine chance to expand their fan base by opening a show for these fine fellows. They might want to reconsider allowing said winner to play for they might get a major label deal and shame the 'Drag boys into some honest labor.

Folks, I've said it before a million times. I think it's time I refresh your memory. Superdrag ripped off Weezer. Pure and simple.

On the contrary, I think the Superdrag stuff is well worth checking out. I'll say the same for Guided By Voices and The Pixies, two other entries on your list of bands that "suck." You've got alot to learn about Rock'N'Roll.

By the way, when you mentioned the possibility that Superdrag might be shamed into some "honest labor", I couldn't help wondering: what do you call touring in a van nine months out of the year? Of course, you wouldn't know anything about that, since you obviously have some job that enables you to spend your eight-hour workday posting on MetroBlab. Congratulations.

What do I listen to? Here is a small sampling:

1) Your main bitch about Superdrag is that they are derivative, unoriginal, stealing or however you phrase it on a given day.

2) Several of your favorite bands are unashamedly derivative. Kravitz, Black Crowes, Squeeze, etc.

If you can tolerate it from your faves but slag the shit out of our local boys, then you must have a personal thing going against them.

It's your privilege to dislike anyone you want but your Superdrag snit ain't related to the music.
