You ever seen the basement under that place?Yeah, it's the same thing as the Metro Pulse basement — it is rather catacomb-like. I went through pretty much all of it before we moved in here. I've found some odd things down there, including an autographed picture of James Doohan ("Scotty" from Star Trek).

Ya know, I think you guys should do a feature article on the true "knoxville underground", the grotto-like basements of most of the old buildings downtown. Who knows, there might be secret passages and tunnels and such down there, as well as strange artifacts from the early years of downtown, when cocaine was legal and happy hollow was booming with illegal booze and hookers. Anybody really looked lately? I think it would be pretty interesting, sure as hell more interesting a read than the feature piece on the yellow pages... (yeesh...)MS

the Unitz did not release a CD. We learned a hard lesson with a buncha boxes of LPs, which are probably collecting dust and becoming warped in some closet in Fort Sanders at present. could it be... what was the name of that dark, industrial band that seemed to get so popular around here? Not Hypertribe, but... Immortal Chorus? maybe Just a guess JB
