WUTK playlist

Could we get a playlist for the stuff presently in the machine, since there ain't no DJ to tell me what I'm listening to? There' re a couple things in rotation I'd like to check out further (or at least know who it is).

"Having an opinion" does not equal "cynicism".

Thank you drive thru.

Thank you Ian! For once someone speaks out about those damn droning automated radio stations! They drive me fucking nuts. Why would anyone try to trick the listening public in that way? It's stupid! I heard the other day from a buddy that works at a radio station that there is some sort of software a station can use to link to their automation so listeners can either pull up a title or get it emailed to them. Maybe UT, WDVX and WOKI could invest some of their hard stolen money for this to help us out!

That's it. I'm going for a drive now and look for young chicks turned on by old men in hot cars.

Too bad this guy doesn't work in radio or be an actual human being on this planet. I wish these cynical critics would know what it is like to work at an operating radio station, not Real Player Juke Box with all those old LP's dupped into MP3 format.

Well too bad these guys don't get it or then everybody might get what they might want and the world would be a happy place for you and me.
Uhm....!!

Some people do know what it is like to be a real DJ playing vinyl mixed in with some CDs or god forbid cassettes. What some people don't like to do, like myself for example, is to become an autmomaton and play pre programmed music using a CD changer or a computer. People enjoy people playing music for them, not some stupid machine operated by an equally stupid person. Speaking in between bits of preprogrammed music that no one likes is not what I and a lot of others call real radio.

Yeah, it's too bad I have more brain power than your common everyday house plant. If I didn't I would chase down a dead end job at a radio station. Maybe I could act like I was really cool too.

Tell ya what pal, if you're spending your parent's hard fought cash on a degree just so you can punch the weather button on the ABC feed once an hour you ain't gonna make it that far in life.

Have you thought about checking out that place on Grand that buys plasma? Might do better in the cash department with it over radio or any other job you can get with a UT Communications degree.

Since we're on the topic of jobs now (which has what to do with WUTK's playlist again?), I have a suggestion. With the cerebral power you seem to have superior to houseplants, I feel your talents are going unappreciated. With your sharp, daft, lyrical jabs, perhaps you should consider finding something better to do with your time and talent than post on a bulletin board taking shots at students who, for all you know, could damn well wind up being incredibly successful, despite naysayers such as you. To paraphrase, and reiterate my main points:

Get off your high horse already. What sort of illustrious job and degree wo you have?

Quit bitching and start a revolution.

You look like you are around 18yrs old without the panda costume. Young chicks turned on by old men will ignore you.
