someone should put together a list of all the cheap beer nights around town - like $1.50 pint nights on Tuesdays @ City Brew before it closed. If I got out more I would probably know most of these, but I imagine there has to be more than just happy hour.

Sunspot just expanded its bar (moved it downstairs, where the old shoe repair shop used to be) and they have $2 pints, across the board) until some undisclosed date in August (presumably before school starts back.)

Cool bartenders, bitchin' atmosphere.

$2 Newcastle(!!!)
$2 Harp, Bass, etc.
$2 Cottonwood
$2 Rogue

You get the idea.

I think Union Jack's still has $2 import draft on Sunday or Monday. They have Carolina Blonde there, too, and man is it ever a great beer.

i have 2 6 packs of beer in my fridge but i dont really care for beer much so there it sits day in and day out while i have my jack - i could through it out but i think ill just let it set there and age a bit before i offer it to the family at christmas
