we in RED#9 are proud to say that we have been picked to play in the jeff. co. battle of the bands and we invite all of you to attend.
apparently the judges will not favor a band just due to crowd response, however if any of you were there as i was last year, you would know that that is how mustered won it.
i am not saying that becouse we lost last year, we were not even in it.
it is just a simple fact.
so please come out and support the local scene all of the band would be greatfull.

then again maybe mustard was just better than the other bands. i was there. didn't seem like much of a contest to me. oh, and just to tip you off, if you do happen to win, don't expect that "free studio time" prize to be all that "free." big mama's has some nice little hidden fees thrown in, or at least they did last year.

If the judges only let Mustard win because the crowd liked them, I think there need to be better judges. Mustard is one of the best live acts in town these days.
