Did I tell the story about going to see Sammy Hagar here in St. Louis? He's unbelievably popular here -- there were so many red T-shirts at the show it was like a Cardinals game. (A crowd of 20,000 at the ampitheater -- like, three times as many people as he played to at Kansas City the night before.) Michael Anthony played bass on the old Van Halen songs, and Sammy reunited with Montrose. It was , um, a special night.

I wish you were here, man. I need a haircut, and the Russians at the salon around the corner are unpredictable -- sometimes they're good, sometimes not so. Last time they had this Mexican guy, and he did a good job. But I can't remember his name. I guess I'll just take take my chances.
