If you have the Google Toolbar, it has it's own built-in popup blocker. Just go to Options~~>Accessories and make sure it is checked:

Also, if you download and run Ad-aware, you'll remove the data miners and adware that bog your system down. Run it at least once a week:

http://www.webattack.com/get/adaware.shtml

If you use Kazaa, dump it. Get Kazaa-Lite. You're just asking for a world of popups and adware with Kazaa.

If you have downloaded and installed the Toolbar, it should be on the right side, labeled as "Options".
