On "Meet the Press," on June 15, 2003, Clark told Tim Russert that he got a lot of calls after 9-11 telling him to go on television and say, "This has to be connected to Saddam Hussein." Asked who had told him that, Clark said: "[T]he White House; it came from people around the White House. It came from all over."

But under cross-examination by Sean Hannity on Fox News Channel a few weeks later, Clark would say only that he had gotten a call from "a fellow in Canada who is part of a Middle Eastern think tank who gets inside intelligence information." So in two weeks' time, Clark had gone from "the White House" to "people close to the White House" to "some guy in Canada." Clark is for abortion, for tax hikes, for affirmative action and against the war in Iraq. But he served in Vietnam. So he's basically Howard Dean with scarier flashbacks.

It's because, unfortunately, scott's posts are largely representative of the large majority of the thoughts from the left.

I question the amount of thought and effort that go into making a case for the socialist left in this country holding any power.

And no, Scott, I don't think you could make better decisions than George W. Bush when it comes to any subject, much less the governing of this country. I'm not trying to be mean, but I think you would agree with that, also.

Everything that has happened during his illegitimate administration has whacked away at the Middle Class (remember the ones who built this country?), and is creating a larger Poor Class. But for those at the Upper end, a large poor population is good for business, their wallets, that is.

Secondly, W is a slave to the Oil Pigs in Texas, who believe that our country OWEs them a future here, which we don't.

Knoxville blew its chance last week. On the horizon for Knoxville:

1> More Highways, wider ones.

2> More Pilot Gasoline Stations everywhere.

3> 4 to 8 more years to wait on any type of passenger rail service.

As a matter of argument I think that I would make better decisions than this dry drunk, I listen to my father, and also listen to counsel at large. I take time to do research before I make large financial decisions unlike the president Bush. He is doing a worse job than his father or Clinton. That is hard to do as neither one of them did a wonderful job. I think he is possibly the worst president in my lifetime.

If it's up to me he will not be in office after the next election. I've never been angrier at a politician, than I am at this man. He embodies all that I despise.

I also think that you do not answer post because you are afraid. Afraid to think, feel, or to fight, and to cry. Anybody who knows me, knows I'm not afraid to do any of those things.

I'm not the left... I'm not a democrat... I'm a man, an appalachian hillbilly, irish, hippie, punk and I will not be lumped in with your idea of the left. I sir am complicated human being and this political system better catch up or were just going to have to change it.

vote for an inteligent canidate for a change...

I'm so fucking tired of being told "You're with us or against us," and I don't just mean by this president (although he's done it more drastically than anyone in my living memory). You wanna see Lord Dubya's favorite role models? Fucking pirates and gangsters. We're trying to do both of them at once -- we stole the "war on terror" shtick from Putin's little killground in Chechnya (which is eventually going to be seen as yet another horror the world looked away and hid from, joining a mighty long list), and Berlusconi's total media control gives gives Dick Cheney a hard-on. Watch these guys! Add them to, say, Rupert Murdoch, and you've got a lot of fucking power.
