Recording Industry clawing and snarling

The tide's agin 'em. Opposition is out of date by many decades. Middle men will suffer and wail.

If somebody steals a car, the owner doesn't have it anymore. That's how stealing works. Who would call the police to report that their car had been photographed?

Artists should be paid for their work, if there's an audience.

So should carpenters. Believing that, I don't believe the ones who built the house I live in should get royalties for me living here. They got paid when they did the work.

We will find out who's in "the business," and who is sincere about creating something. I say record because you love music, record for promotion, record for posterity. Record to bring lasting beauty into the world. Then go out and play it for the people, and use as few middle men as possible.

This is the most exciting time for music since sound recording was first made possible. People are up to their chins in art that they love, sinking their teeth into the meat of human creativity, getting in touch with the heart of our species.

Fuck the middle men.

Speaking of recordings, THAT ONE IS BEING ENTIRELY RE-ENGINERED AND mASTERED BY Carl Snow at Moss hill productions. Your main worry is getting ready for the Pilot light tomorow SAT. the4th. It can be done.
