Fine! Jester Jules Jaded Jackass, Whatever.

Have your Jester back. I don't care. You look foolish. It was simply a name that evolved from Victor to Hector to Lester to Jester, because Ian kept banning me and all my ISP's.

You truly are the epitome of the word jester. More power to ya!

Tell you what, Fermaggio-- when I see a poster like you on this board can get away with saying the most vile, despicable things like you have said, I'm actually going to WRITE THE PUBLISHER Of this newspaper and ask him to take some decent steps to tighten up this board.

I can not believe that you have the utter gall to ask another poster "have you ever seen another woman's vagina, other than your mother's".... I can't believe that we have people like this on this board, and that their posts will stand here.

This is ridiculous. Every newspaper I have seen that has a message board has POSTING GUIDELINES that they make posters read as part of their agreement before getting a log in. And they don't have people saying things like you have said on their boards. The moderators delete them as fast as they post, and flamers almost always just leave a board that does that.

Somebody tell me again who the owner of Metropulse is, because I am going to write him a letter, asking him to have some guidelines on this board.

I have no idea where you dream up such filthy things to say to people, Fermaggio...but you need to have your head examined. And we have more flamers here than just you... and they say such despicable, vile uncalled for and savage statements. You're not the only flamer here. We've lost good solid posters because of flamers. I could give some names, and some of them I've forgotten...but we've lost good posters here because of the sick, demented personal attacks that flamers here have made on people.

I've watched people like you ruin message boards in cyberspace for 20 years. I used to ignore them for years, but in my old age I decided to try one time on one board to EXPLAIN how you operate, and WHY you do what you do, and HOW you ruin message boards. But let there be no doubt... flamers, trolls, imposters and other message board roaches can and will RUIN a message board. What happens is that some folks out there, who might be inclined to post, take one look at the mess you make and they just click away and surf somewhere else. And good posters sometimes just toss their hands up in the air and LEAVE, simply because there are tons of flamers destroying a message board.

So I am gonna write the owner of this newspaper and ask him to tighten this place up, and ask him to have someone delete that kind of despicably vile vomit that has erupted from your mouth. I don't know if he'll do anything about it or not, but for the love of God something needs to be done.

I am going to write him a letter, asking him to have some guidelines on this board.

I could just give him the JJJ file with the letters/faxes you've sent to me, Barry Henderson, Joe Sullivan, et al. They're pretty consistent.

and really Ian, you should have deleted his post....

I probably should've deleted the one in which you threatened a poster with bodily harm, too.

(said to Fluffy) show me where you've given these people so much as one lousy link to something interesting for them to read.

You have got to be kidding me.

Y'know, given the cornucopia of reactions you get from people on the Blab, you pick the oddest things to go ballistic over sometimes.

Somewhat unrelated tech note:
attacks from already KNOWN ISP numbers

They're called "IP addresses." And for most posters, they change from session to sesson.

An open letter

Dear Knoxville Writers' Guild--

While I have been willing to suspend my disbelief re: JJJ up to this point, I must now confess that you have gone too far. Please use this information for good and not for continued evil.

Thanks,
-Adrienne

There are

SEVERAL

quotes from other POSTS, holmes.

My 50 odd years of PROFESSIONAL POSTING experience says that directly quoting specific points of other people's posts is confusing and RUDE.

yeah! that way we have more room for posts and pictures about 12 year old tennis players!!

I never posted anything about a 12 year old tennis player, Fluffy. I posted a link to

tennisangels dot com, a G-rated web site put together by Emmanulle Gagliardi, who is fully grown.

See it's junk like that you do that is just sickening. It's a total LIE, and if stated often enough, you hope that someone out there might buy into it.

I looked at your five picks down below, since you are claiming that I listen to Air Supply (which I don't)....and I saw where one of your bands was a band called "Pretty Girls Make Graves" and then went to their official web site

and they have some MP3s to listen to there.

Boy I sure am glad I don't spend my hard earned money on slop like that. What is that band, some unknown unheard of rap rock slopbucket college band...that will be broken up, washed up and forgotten in two weeks? I listened to their music. No wonder you're a flamer. They are playing "The End" in Nashville October 7th-- which is probably some dive in central Nashville where the bathrooms have drains right out in the open, and the fiberglass insulation hangs from the ceilings.

I listened to their song "If you hate your friends you're not alone" and that attitude is probably one you share easily. Actually I doubt if you really HAVE any decent friends, if what you post here is any indication of your personality. Anyway, the song is a piece of s***. It's hard to think anyone would spend decent money on a CD of theirs, but look at it like this-- ten years from now when this obscure slop band is long long LONG gone, you'll still have one of their CDs in your music collection, and it'll be worth ABOUT AS MUCH as a Heineken bottle cap that's been sitting on the bottom of the Tennessee River for 20 years.

JJJ wrote: "...it'll be worth ABOUT AS MUCH as a Heineken bottle cap that's been sitting on the bottom of the Tennessee River for 20 years."

This is the stuff that convinces me that the Knoxville Writers Guild is behind the persona of JJJ. Perhaps this recent effluence is coordinated with the upcoming writer's conference and MP publication of prose and poetry in this week's edition.

JJJ is a front for the so-called Knoxville Writers Guild, which is obviously a front for Brian Conley's literary ambitions. I've never seen a newspaper in which a publisher/owner who isn't a journalist prints so much commentary. Anyway, my opinion: JJJ is Brian Conley. If that's the case, I must say, my hat's off to him in admiration. What impeccable subtlety and guile. really impressive.

Well, that would certainly make some events on this board amusing & exceptionally ironic (my past conversations with/about our little friend included). Trust me on that one.

However, I suspect not... even though I have had some differences in opinion w/ JJJ when it comes to things like the online world, Netiquette, the old BBS scene, etc., etc., I'm told B.C. would likely not have been able to craft JJJ's arguments on those and related subjects (not without help, anyway)...

Yeah, those classic rock cds manufactured in the millions are only gonna increase in value, while obscure small press releases will be worth pennies.

Ever tried to buy original subpop singles club records, for example?

see? thats what happens when you hit post too many times!

i told you to relax. sorry about the Air Supply/14 year old tennis player crack.

instead, you should put on "The Greatest Hits of Bread", and watch "Lizzie Mcguire", season 1 on DVD, and do...whatever feels natural. thank you for the opportunity to clarify.
