No, but it's kind of flattering you'd think so. There's a good cartoon in the New Yorker this week with an unshaven guy in shirt-sleeves drinking beer and eating chips and squinting at the TV, and in the background his wife is saying to a friend, "He's kind of a retrosexual."

I've got nothing against comfort, I'm not Jeremiah Johnson or anything, but it's not my top priority. I'm more interested in talking about what the introduction of the word "metrosexual" to the lexicon actually signifies than in pantomiming it. Not that I have anything against pantomimes. Did I tell you about the breakdancing mime I saw? He had this blank white mask.
