Only $289 and 20 gigs of memory! Plus, in addition to storing mega volumes of MP3's (I have the now-deleted Archos Jukebox 6000, 6 gigs and after about two years, I'm within 1 gig of filling it up!), you can record directly onto its hard drive! This could revolutionize my making "field" and "unauthorized" recordings of my fave live music! At least, it will make my minidisc recorder obsolete!

OK reality check:

Those of you more tech-savvy and recording-savvy than I tell me if this is worth it; should I even bother to sweet-talk Wifey into buying it for me?
