New handle. Because I had a birthday and it's a new year and just 'cuz I want to. Also 'cuz JJJ hates when people change handles. Nyah.

I read two of your posts above without knowing it was you. I'd decided it must be one of the Gypsy Hands belly dancers who are all the rage here in K-Town.

Oddly, I was just thinking about changing my screen name to reflect my new "deep South Knoxville" quarters.

I've heard about the belly-dancing craze. That's a good craze for any city to have, seems to me.

Well the middle east in Boston is a restaraunt/rock club were Morphine started playing.

They have belly dancers not sure if it's every night or not...

An odd mix of music mediocre middle eastern food and belly dancing, I haven't had the full rock experience as of yet as I'm trying not to spend to much until I gets a job arggh

Have you been to TT the Bears place yet? I have a show passing through there in a week or so.

I haven't been anywhere, trying to save money at the moment. There's plenty to keep my attention here.

The History alone is overwhelming...

What is the show your talking about at TT and the Bears?

Do whatever ya want, man.

You've left Knox town behind, and yer livin' in New York City.

Whatever floats your boat.

All it will do is reduce the number of folks who read your stuff, especially if what you have contributed has been interesting thus far. It will only set you back in any number of ways.

But whatever.

Whateveah baybeh.

I've seen message boards since Compuserve in 1984, and I say it RUINS a message board when tons of folks do it, because you have to go thru the mess of figuring out who is interesting enough to read, and who ain't.

Nobody pays attention to me, though.

I'm that guy from Memphis that 'has no right' to be here.

And twirl of the gypsy frocks to you, sir. (I don't think anyone's ever contested your right to be here, although I admit that some folks have taken it upon themselves to discourage you from exercising it. Me, I always miss you when you go away.)

People who go changing handles on message boards are irresponsible turds with no thought of the feelings of others.

Good luck with being old as hell. I'm finding it enlightening (I tell myself).

Sincerely,

The Federal Witness Protection program says I have to stick with Michael (sigh). But I suppose it's all for the best. The name Gene Harrogate will not soon be forgotten by the watermelon cartels of South America. If the NSA hadn't arranged for Ian Blackburn to take over as the president of Argentina for a day, I'd probably never have made it to Cuba, let alone back to the states.
