I just heard Dirty Three on NPR

It was the background music playing at the end of the show, under the credits. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. Either way, it's not as cool as the use of GYBE in 28 Days Later.

still havent seen that. not much of horror fan. i did see the guitar player from D3 up here a few months ago perform with Tara Jane O' Neil at this little bar near MIT. he has some great background visuals going on a screen behind him. almost fell asleep a few times i was so relaxed. good thing Guinness is still good warm.

28 Days Later is hokey, but hokey in a good way. I think it's underrated, but I guess good horror films always get underrated because they're horror films. I knew some people who couldn't stand it because they thought it was disgusting. But the disgustingness is kind of the point. (Plus, it's not that disgusting.)

For me, the movie was worth it just for the scene where the main guy goes home and finds his parents' decomposing bodies lying on their bed in their bedroom. And the GYBE, of course.

Nick Cave hired the Violin player so now if ya go see him you see them to sorta.
