Circuit City cuts 3900 jobs and eliminates commissioned sales jobs

Circuit City announced that store closings and layoffs are coming.

Stock prices have fallen from 30 bucks a share to 6 bucks.

Layoffs total 2 thousand, and Circuit City will hire 2100 clerks to replace the commissioned sales people they will lay off.
