Look. It's real simple. If your lunch wagons are hard evidence for WMDs, then Donald Rumsfeld would be standing in front of enormous posters announcing his "find," and reminding everyone about how he's absolutely sure he has the largest testicles of anyone in the room. He's got no posters, and he hasn't been waving his goods around nearly as much since his boss pranced around on a carrier deck and told us "mission accomplished."

Hey, the ONLY people who donn't know the WMD's are there are the former Iraqi mouthpiece and anyone who has lived under a rock for the past twenty years. They have them, we will find them.

Even if WMDs are found in Iraq tomorrow, the 'imminent danger' argument is pretty much shot. There's no reason for Bush to have so seriously damaged 60 years worth of western alliances.

Re: really -- Portnoy
He, like me, was tired of putting up with Saddam's foot dragging. Gulf War 1 ended because Saddam promised to get out of Kuwait, destroy his offensive weapons, including WMD and turn over all information regard the R&D of those chemical weapons. He had ten years and still had not complied. Do the math, it was a matter of time before he did what UBL did.

"Do the math, it was a matter of time before he did what UBL did."huh? you are comparing the motives of a religious zealot capable of suicidial attacks on the name of Allah to a money-hungry bureacrat that was living the cushy life in palaces with no religious interests? the 2 guys are apples and oranges. there is no way(especially after he saw our response from 9/11 in afhanistan) saddam would risk his life(or his lifestyle) to attack us. and anyways, i thought this was about liberating the iraqi people from tyranny..oh wait, that would mean we would have to deal with SA and Egypt too. so i guess it is about WMD's..oh wait, then we would have to be dealing with NK and Iran. crap; hey Wolfowitz, we need a new excuse!

Re: really -- fluffy
Well, let's see... Saddam provided money, materials and training to UBL. He also failed to carry through on all the promises he made the UN to stay in power. But like many Americans, you forget this, or just did not know. So after DIPLOMACY failed, we were left with the only option we had.

Prove it.

Re: really -- Jester_Fermaggio
Proving the obvious is as much a waste of time as trying to convine you of something you refuse to believe. If I brought Saddam to your house and he told you all of this you would STILL not believe it. So, I won't waste time or effort to keep you informed on public knowledge.

once again, you fail to back up your words with links, quotes, etc. what a surprise. even the president has said there is NO LINK BETWEEN SADDAM AND 9/11! and thats a story you WILL be able to find on Yahoo or Google, unlike your so-called facts.

Re: really -- fluffy
Well, let's see... The whole fucking world does not revolve around links. If you are too ignorant to keep informed with the multitudes of broadcat, cable and print media, then I cannot help you. I HAVE read that article and although I am sure there was not a DIRECT link between the two, I am not as blind as some of you think. The point of that article was to clarify what you anti-whatevers for trying to interpret everything in the wrong lite.

if its so widespread then POST THE LINK. why is that so difficult for you to do? oh thats right; because you cant. trust me, if you asked the same of me, i would(hence why i post articles so often WITH the link). thats whats called 'providing facts'. otherwise, you are just making shit up. as you have been. kind of like W and this war. "eh, just trust me, everything ive said is true. you all dont need to see the research or know my sources". how woefully gullible of you.

No, it would support the idea that ALL leaders are bad instead of just the Republicans. Besides, then we would have to show a pic of Clinton giving miltary secrets to China as well.
Well, if we're going to do that...

oh by the way; W was found in a 3-way with a donkey and a autistic Czech midget. i dont have a link for it, but it was all over the news, so you can do a search for it and find it. it must be true because, you know, i say it is.. so why should we do the same for you?
A modest request
Re: A modest request -- fluffy
Actually, the midget was Chechnian not Checkoslovakian, I also recall him being paraplegic not autistic. :D
