"The camera pans around the stark cell, zooming in on the narrow bunk, the metal toilet, the heavy black bars. The only way out of these cramped confines is a trip next door, to the inevitable appointment with "Old Sparky" or the lethal-injection gurney.
Welcome to the virtual tour of Tennessee's Deathwatch ward, where prisoners are transferred three days before they are executed. Feel free to wander about the other wings of the state's maximum security prison, including the isolation cells on death row and the gloomy recreation yard. Note the five coils of razor wire topping the fences along the prison's perimeter and how difficult it would be to escape. Feel relieved that this is merely a virtual visit, and resolve never, ever, to do anything that could result in a real-life stay."

and by the way, all those citizens...didn't murder an 8 year old girl abducted from a church parking lot. Among the 100 inmates at Riverbend? Several cop killers like Phillip Workman, a few spree killers, some abduction rape monsters like David M. Keene, even a pair of lovable rogues who tortured two people to death at a Gatlinburg resort hotel at the top of a mountain. One guy buried his dying or dead victims in the cemetery on top of recently dug graves-- just tossed them in on top of the casket. He figured nobody'd look for the dead in a cemetery-- so he did a scene right out of 'Body Double.'
The Wired magazine should stick to what they know about, and let the laws and citizens of Tennessee decide what justice we will have here.
David M. Keene is on that row in Riverbend-- he's a real nice guy. Keene went to check on his neighbor's 8 year old girl, then abducted the 68 pound child and raped her by the Wolf River near Millington, Tennessee. Cops found her lifeless body wrapped in a sleeping bag, floating down the river like the 'la Jeune Martyre' painting by Paul Delaroche....

That is old testament and doesn't apply If I am not mistaken the laws of of Moses are still in place.
The crucifixition of Christ supposedly brought us into a new era of kindness, ya know learning from past mistakes and all it has been a couple thousand years now lol.
