"Look at all the great things weve done in the world! You guys are neat! Can i borrow some money?"

it was like listening to that crazy senile uncle that babbles on about anything that enters his head. the worst part is it was filled with the bland pleasantries that he usually reserves for the american public. still, was funny to listen to him try and acknowledge the UN as being a viable institution. you could hear the bile coming up as he talked.

If you only tuned in for the second half, you would have thought he was giving a policy address on the scourge of sexual slavery. And good for him -- sexual slavery is a bad thing. But in this context, it felt more than a little like changing the subject. "War...Iraq...terror...weapons...hey look, it's sexual slavery!"

exactly! i think i read that NASA was going to send in nano-probes to see if they could find intelligent life in there; so far, its hasnt been fruitful...
