Karl Rove has got to be cursing up a storm. Now, after he spent all those taxpayer dollars having an aircraft carrier circle around offshore from San Diego so GWB could have his picture taken in a flight suit, it's the Democrats who will benefit from the footage.

Imagine an ad with W prancing around on the carrier deck while the electorate is reminded that W's military career Stateside in the Guard includes a substantial amount of time AWOL. (Why does he want to be a pilot now? He had his chance and blew it!)

Then you see images of General Clark in medal-covered dress uniform, and leading troops in his fatigues while the voters are reminded that Clark's military career includes taking bullets for his country in Vietnam and commanding NATO forces to victory (and with no NATO casualties!) in Kosovo.

Yep, Rove has got to be furious that his whole re-election strategy has been foiled. Now he's going to have to go back to square one to fabricate new lies to be spread on Fox News and the "Excellence in Broadcasting Network."

Don't doubt he'll do it, though. (And run n gun will be here to cut-n-paste them for us!)
