Ron 'The Zook Man" Zook speaks

"Obviously, we are very disappointed," Florida coach Ron Zook said after his career record as a head coach dropped to 10-7. "This was a team loss. Our guys will rebound from this."

"That's the first time that's ever happened to me," Zook said of the Hail Mary pass.

Worst Excuse: UT's Bret Smith burned Keiwan Ratliff and turned him around in a circle on a 57-yard pass. Florida coach Ron Zook blamed Guss Scott, who should have helped on the play. "Guss was out a couple of series before that with cramps and he just didn't have the energy to go get it,'' Zook said.

My thinking in that situation is to try and get some points," Zook said. "I thought their defense was going to be tired right then. I thought we had a chance to get down to (their) 35-yard line."

"I felt like they thought we were gonna try to get points."
(I assume he was talking about the Vols defense here)

getting his head knocked off by Burnett. Some spoiled children need to be taught life's lessons from time to time. As for all his hooey about Fulmer going back on his word that CJ was to be the starting quarterback in 2002 or 2003, he made that one up. Only in his wacky head did he actually think that CJ would be able to beat out Casey. CJ will be looked at next year and I sure as hell don't see Banks being a quarterback. At receiver however, I've liked what I've seen so far. Experience will come.
