"So many people seem to think that all the problems this country faces are all Bush's fault. The war on terror (taking too long). The Homeland Security department(hey, remember our wide open borders to the north and south?) Where's Bin Laden (can you say running scared?). And oh yeah, we have not caught Saddam (yet)."i think you are missing the point here. war on terror taking too long? i havent heard that from anyone. consdiering most nations have been dealing with terrorism for decades, i dare anyone to say that. the WAR is taking too long, especially for one that was declared over months ago. homeland security? as ive said before, its not what it IS, its what it might BECOME. how long before someone is picked up for simply checking out a Koran from the local library or logging onto a islamic website? how long before protestors are considered "terrorists" by the patriot act? weve seen shades of this since 9/11, instances of people rounded up for simply "looking" middle eastern. its always so easy to support this kind of activity when it doesnt effect you. how comforting it must be.

wearing turbans at airports...simply because it happens to be dark-skinned Arab fanatic Muslims wearing turbans at airports who hijack jets and murder people with them. Better to search the 80-year-old great-grandmother because God knows, she might have some fingernail clippers on her. http://www.newsmax.com/popunders/hillaryscheme.htm (feel better cause I've done your research for you, fluffy, my man? wouldn't want you to have to actually look for the truth, y'know? ;))Israel has searched for the dark-skinned Arab fanatic Musilm wearing the turban at an airport and guess how many times they've been hijacked in the last 30 years at Ben Gurion? Try zero.

He'd be against our living and flying safely due to profiling, but I doubt there's a cause in the world he'd ever die for.

Considering that he still thinks the war in Iraq is over. One more time for the cheap seats "The battle for Iraq is over, but the war is not." battle=skirmish and or fight war=culmination of all battles.

Oh Christ, Vince Foster again. OK, look, let's just say Clinton had him killed. For whatever reason, I don't care. Are you happy now? Because even if that were true, that wouldn't change anything about who George Bush is and what he's doing and what he represents. Goddam it, I am so sick and tired of people telling me I have to choose A or B, Bush or Clinton, us or them, blah blah blah. Here's the side I'm on -- I'm on the side that thinks Clinton is a cynical, manipulative, lying son of a bitch, Bush is a monomaniacal jackass, Bin Laden and Saddam are fucking ruthless murdering fucks, Halliburton are vultures and maggots (they're making their fucking money off a war!) and the European heads of state are pathetic posturing assholes. Whatever side that is, that's the one I'm on. No other.

"Oh Christ, Vince Foster again". Jesus man, does the outright assasination of someone just wash off like water? I agree with most of what you say, but you have to admit that it was just a little too convenient for Clinton.

Thanks for sending us a care package of homily down the wisdom gradient. Here are a few things I myself have learned, using my much more limited noodlepower: * American aren't the only free people in the world. * America didn't invent freedom. * All governments are liars, especially ones that sell themselves as loving protectors

I READ A LOT OF GRIPPING ABOUT OUR GOVERNMENT AND PRESIDENT. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT IS THE BEST THERE IS TO OFFER AT THIS TIME. I HOPE THAT ALL OF THE PEOPLE HERE THAT ARE COMPLAINING SO LOUDLY HERE ARE ALSO VOTING IN ALL THE ELECTIONS. BECAUSE IF YOU AREN'T THEN YOU ARE GIVING UP ANY CLAIM TO COMPLAIN

BECAUSE IF YOU AREN'T THEN YOU ARE GIVING UP ANY CLAIM TO COMPLAINI vote. But you're wrong. There's no obligation to vote. And our right to complain is fundamentally protected by the Constitution. I agree with your sentiment, but not your rhetoric. ~m.

"HOPE THAT ALL OF THE PEOPLE HERE THAT ARE COMPLAINING SO LOUDLY HERE ARE ALSO VOTING IN ALL THE ELECTIONS."-dont worry, we are. even if the supreme court decides an election regardless.

Re: Something to cram up your fundament -- fluffy
Jesus, Can't you just accept the fact that Gore LOST. He conceded the election long before the supreme court stepped in. They only stopped the bullshit because the democritics want only the votes from democritics counted.

"Jesus, Can't you just accept the fact that Gore LOST."as long as the neocons use clinton for every complaint from stained dresses to solar flares, i dont see why talking about the election being decided by the supreme court is invalid. not that clinton is blameless(BUAH-HA-HA!!), but the continued mentality that W is perfect and that he has no faults is hilarious. time after time, evidence has been presented about this administration, and yet not one prominent repub has stood up to say "im a proud republican, but W is wrong on ______". party solidarity is one thing, but this lack of criticism from within to the point of burying one's head in the sand is pathetic. to subscribe to one's party and not being able to criticize it is a little fascist, dont you think? and also, can you imagine the outcry from the repubs is the supreme court had sided with Gore? the way they still complain about CLinton, wed be hearing about the "Gore Election Travesty" for the next 50 years! oh, and in miami dade only 1/5 of the votes were counted before they called it quits. of course this entire discussion would never be taking place if we had viable voting equpiment. lets hope california sets a precident for the rest of the nation in 04. and ps-id support CLark REGARDLESS of which party he was running under.
