Well, I think the REAL question is....

how much do they owe us...period?

Certainly we did them a favour-- there are no more 'rape rooms' and no

more torture chambers. There are no more summary executions for poltical dissedents. There is no secret police knocking down doors at 2 AM.

Certainly they owe us something. OIL? Well, unless they can make some magic carpets like Ali and the 40 thieves then YES---

they gotta pay back somehow.

So why not OIL?

At this point, we've given plus 200 American lives to free these poor wretches.

Wouldn't it be NICE if the freakin' United Nations would step up to the plate at this moment in time?

Lots of guys who thought they'd sign up for a local National Guard duty have since found out that the commitment might just mean two plus years in a foreign country.

Key word? TRY a big ole clusterphucked MESS.

Hmm. So, not so slowly, the war that wasn't about oil turns out to be an excuse to take their oil as "payment" for our "assistance." So basically, we help put and keep the guy in there (like so many before him), our leaders look the other way while he builds his rape rooms and torture chambers, and then at some point where it becomes more convenient to get rid of him than keep him, we storm in, put a bounty on his head, and proclaim ourselves shocked at his rape rooms and torture chambers. Then, as reparations for our efforts, we raid the treasury. Standard Viking shit. People are right when they say we're not the new Roman Empire -- we're the new Visigoths.

That's revisionism!!!

Since Bushco now denies an Al Qaeda connection, we shouldn't have to clarify, (or reclarify), our reasons for going to war!!!

Hell no. Bush made that connection. He lied. His cronies lied. FUCK NO. This war was not, and is not, about liberation! This is not about removing a madman who raped and tortured his own. It's about greed and oil.

Bush declared war on terrorism! Hussein was a threat! WE had to go in when we did! He had WMD!

He was wrong.

He was wrong??? Come out from under your rock and read history. Saddam was a bad element we were tired of fucking with. We don't need the UN or the fucking French to tell us how to protect our country. You add Saddam's chemicals and Al-Q's delivery system and you KNOW we are going to get whacked again. But, you probably think that 9-11 didn't really happen because it happened on Bush's watch.
