Never to fear, though. The subtle stinging in my eyes at the moment attests that I still have some very valuable friends here whose patience I may rely upon until a more liberated stage of my life, when my leisure time may be spent in pursuits of a more social and less developmental nature.

Nevertheless, I still do strive to at least catch the headings of each thread, (if not always the entire thread) and I continue to appreciate the resource I have here to learn from other great minds in our own little corner of the earth, (a valley is a sort of corner, I believe) even though I can no longer interact as frequently as before. The one exception was in early August, when I was in England and missed well over a week�s worth of posts entirely. Inquiring minds need not fear that I will be expatriating anytime in the immediate future, though. I rate the trip as the most fascinating and inspirational experience of my life, but it appears that the connection I made there now has other plans for her future that no longer involve me. Change is life�s one true constant, we all know.

The friend whom I refer to is a 30 y/o South African Briton high school English teacher, so I would say that �educational� is indeed an appropriate description of this very brief but nevertheless life-affirming experience.
