Former Vice President Dan Quayle, joined by the first President Bush and current Vice President Dick Cheney, returned to the Capitol Wednesday to unveil his bust.

Quayle's white marble bust will stand alongside history's other vice presidents around the Senate chamber. It is to be placed next to the bust of the elder Bush, who preceded Quayle as vice president and selected Quayle as his vice-presidential running mate in 1988. The vice president also serves as president of the Senate.

Bush, at ceremonies in the Capitol Rotunda, praised Quayle, often the target of political critics during his four years in office, for ��keeping your head up and doing your job when you were unfairly criticized." History, Bush said, ��will be very kind to Dan Quayle."

Quayle, 56, served in the House and was a two-term Indiana senator before serving as vice president.
