We used to entertain ourselves in high school with the idea of "thrillseeker mice", and I somehow got that concept wrapped up with the Daredevil band name. I was actually expecting helmeted mice on the stage doing insane, death-defying stunts.

So you can imagine my disappointment when it turned out to be exquisite psychedelic pop with rich harmonies and arrangements, interesting lyrics, and rock-solid rhythm. They were a delight.

I can't wait to see a full set from these guys, but there will always be a corner of my brain on the lookout for a mouse running up the mic stand and shaking his butt in the singer's face or grabbing hold of the E-string on the bass and riding it like a bucking bronco.
