This works best when the traffic is moving like cold honey, as it does in the hours before kickoff. All the bright-eyed Vol fans still looking for a place to park are foaming at the mouth. If a person gets into the driver's seat of a car parked on the street, somebody will stop (and screw the people behind them) to wait for you to pull out. They will wait a long time.
The thing is, you get in, find a CD or something, and get back out again after about 3 minutes. The results are impressive. It works if you do it again too. And again.

When I worked near the mall I once ran out to my car to get the more comfortable shoes I had in there. I changed shoes and ran back in the store. Someone that was waiting for me to start the car and pull out actually complained to my manager about it. She wanted me either "severly punished or fired." My manager laughed in her face.
