As he tries to convince the nation that he requires $80 billion to achieve his goals for Iraq, remember a few things:
1.) No Iraqi ever attacked us on our soil. The Iraqi people didn't terrorize us. We took preemptive measures upon them.
2.) There is no SOLID connection between Al Qaeda and Saddam Hussein. Simply because the polls say a majority of American people think there is a connection, doesn't mean there is one. At one time in history the majority of people thought the world was flat!
3.) Hussein has still not been captured or killed.
4.) Osama Bin Laden has still not been captured or killed.
5.) Still no WMD.
6.) Bush and his administration did not want the UN's assistance earlier this year, but now it's desperately needed.
I will take a wild guess here, and predict the U.s., for the most part, will pull out of Iraq by this time next year, or sooner.
Moving forward, politically, Shrubya continues to lie to the American people about intelligence and now the environment:
And Hillary's going to do something about it
We need a regime change in 2004.
