New sitcom: Hillbilly in Harvard Square

Well anyone that's interested, I'm now living on Cambridge ave. near Harvard Square. I'm about a block away from harvard on the backside of a latin highschool and the public Library, also Harvard musuems which currently have a Rosso diplay, that I get to see this weekend(free on Sat).

http://www.artmuseums.harvard.edu/

I've already been to bluegrass picking party previously mentioned and stumbled accross a banjo street performer frailing in harvard square, which is also where I plan on doing all of my practicing.

Even the vagrants/drunks have to step it up, I seen a fellow yesterday with a sign that said lies a $1.00 entertaining some locals, all the while another possible vagrant is criticicizing his techinique.

The locals realy don't know what to think when you tell them there is just no reason to be rude. They calm down and look you straight in the eye and ask where are you from lol(happened to Monica first day returning the truck). Overall everyone seems to have a stressed politeness, you can still see it under the callaoused accent lol.

I get lost constantly walking driving it doesn't seem to matter, I don't mind as there is so much take in as your going down the street, and the different districts are so small in comparrison to K-town, and Nebraska. You miss a turn next thing you know your in Arlington.

Oh well back to work on the portfolio, doop

Hey Scott,

There *is* a Harvard Square webcam, though I couldn't get it to work. Tell me what you find out and let's make plans for you to be jammin' in front of it at a previously scheduled time so we can see you in action! Don't forget that some of the greatest names in bluegrass came from New England...Joe Val, Peter Rowan, members of David Grisman's first band (New York City Ramblers)...

Webcam That is a great idea I'll get on it, and get back to ya WooHoo!

Exactly why I came here, to have the proper outlet for my art, and music and also great teachers. Like R.B. Said "Take that Ride"

Speaking of teachers and great musicians from this area, Bill Keith is from Boston if he is still here I'll see if he'll give an amatuer like me some lessons.

If you run into Jordan Cavanaugh....
