Breast Augmentation Paid for by Theme Park Investment Scam

NASHVILLE (AP) -- A Middle Tennessee man was sentenced to 16 years in prison Tuesday for defrauding investors of more than $5 million.
Authorities said 60-year-old James Gordon Keith of Mount Juliet told his investors he was building a theme park in Texas. He also was sentenced on drug and gun charges.
Keith admitted telling investors in Britain and the Middle East that he was building an amusement park, entertainment and hotel complex called Texas Country USA.
He also admitted to falsely telling a Nashville contractor that his companies would receive a multimillion dollar contract to build the park once funding was secured.
Keith admitted the money he stole was his sole source of income for about seven years.
The Justice Department said Keith used the money for lavish home improvements, jewelry, 14 luxury vehicles and breast augmentation surgery for his girlfriend.
