Why don't you ask JJJ? He seems to know where all the femmes are. Then again, you might be JJJ in disguise. Then you would be talking to yourself which would be creepier than JJJ talking on message boards.

i suggest picking one out at random and stalking her. i've always found the desparate need to constantly have a partner unattractive myself (not to suggest this is indeed how you feel) perhaps this is why i'm single. now, who wants one of my cats?

I just read this article about how teenagers all over the country are asking one another to the prom or homecoming or whatever in unusual ways. For instance, one guy (with the girl's parent's permission) left a trail of goldfish crackers from the girl's front door to her bathroom. When she arrived home that night, she follwed the trail. In the bathroom was a fishbowl full of real fish, and a note asking her to go to a dance in some cutsey fishy way. Now, you are not a teenager, but maybe instead of being deparate sounding, you could try a little imagination. Try a post on here like, "Are there any ladies around 30 who want to go do *insert idea here*" Post a picture of yourself. It's bound to be interesting to everyone, including you.
Maybe the all caps are a little much.

I didnt mean to sound desperate, but then again, I guess even the deserate dont really want to seem desperate. I am also not a person who "must be involved". I know people like that, from one bad relationship to a brand new and possibly worse relationship. (I have never understood that) I have really only had one "serious" relationship, I thought marraige was certain, and I couldnt wait. Of course all that changed the morning I caught my best friend enjoying himself at an apparent slumber party at my girlfriends apartment. So the next four years I have spent builing my career (similar to builing a sandcastle on top of a screen). Now all my friends are married and pregnant which leaves me in a strange situation. Here I am, a guy who used to have so many friends in different groups, it was almost like work to make sure I spent enough time with everyone so they didnt get mad at me, to today, a guy who has loads of friends and we have nothing in common. at this point it occurrs to me that I am telling a whole lot of information to a whole lot of strangers, who proabably think I am a nut at this point.

I dont think.
anyway, if anyone would be interested in hanging out, let me know.

If you're going to be in school, you should have nothing to worry about. It's the best place to meet people. The only caveat is that they might have plans to move far away when they are finished here.
