Three days after finding thousands of bees in his blue-ribbon exhibit at the New York State Fair dead, 11-year-old James Johnson "J.J." Goblet of Schoharie said he will not be discouraged from continuing his hobby...
State police at Oneida said there are no leads in the deaths of about 5,000 bees...apparently, troopers said, someone sprayed a black substance into the vents of the wood case that was part of the observation hive, killing the bees.
A note found near the hive Saturday said "Let the bees go," according to Sgt. Thomas Round..."
